Karuizawa distillery was founded in 1955 however, it was then, unfortunately, mothballed in 2000, with it later being completely demolished in 2016. Distilled in 1981, this expression was matured for over three decades in a single sherry cask before being bottled in early 2017 for Wealth Solutions. This particular bottling was one of only 23 bottles produced.
