Edward VII gold Specimen Sovereign 1908-C SP65 PCGS, Ottawa mint, KM14. Stunning, the extremely rare first year of the Canadian Sovereign series struck to a mintage of only 636 pieces, all of which are Specimen strikings. The planchet is a deep and rich golden hue, the surfaces admirably preserved and the general quality fully in line with the gem grade assigned; the obverse is glossy, the reverse far more frosted. A seldom encountered opportunity to acquire one of the most coveted specimen Sovereigns in gem grade.
